Jakarta, January 12, 2022. As a form of synergy in accelerating COVID-19 vaccination for children aged 6-11 years, Kalbe provided products from Kalbe Group in the form of 1,000 goodie bags for the vaccination event that is carried out at the Cilangkap TNI Headquarters and SD 01 Cilangkap. In its implementation, the vaccination was attended by Diah Erwiany, the wife of TNI General Muhammad Andika Perkasa. Goodie bags containing medicines and vitamins are given to the children after they are vaccinated.
"The government has launched a COVID-19 vaccination program for children aged 6-11 years old a little while ago, and in line with Kalbe's commitment to making the nation healthy and preventing Covid-19 in children, Kalbe will continue to help the government create a healthy Indonesian society," said Vidjongtius, Director of PT Kalbe Farma Tbk. "Kalbe as a health industry company cannot be alone in fighting Covid-19, we need collaboration and adherence to health protocols to make it happen," said Vidjongtius again.
During the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination for the 6-11 years age bracket, Hetty praised the vaccination participants for being brave in getting the vaccination against Covid. Hetty also thanked Kalbe for assisting in today's vaccination event and hopes that there will be a continuous collaboration with TNI Headquarters.
"Children who are to be vaccinated today must be in good health and if they have a comorbid disease, they can consult a doctor prior to getting vaccinated," said Abi Nisaka, Sustainability Manager of PT Kalbe Farma Tbk.
The implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination started at 7.30 until 13.00 WIB. The 1,000 goodie bags given by Kalbe to support this activity consisted of ABC Sakatonic, Slasi Panas Dalam, Hi-C 1,000, Chilgo, and Starmuno.
