Jakarta, January 10, 2022. PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (Kalbe) partnered with the Army Health Center (PUSKESAD) to collaborate against COVID-19 on the theme "Together we maintain Indonesian immunity, Indonesia United Against COVID-19". Starting the year 2022, the Omicron variant of COVID-19 in Indonesia has increased and therefore immunity in the body needs to be increased to maintain the integrity of all body mechanisms against dangers, both those originating from outside the body and from within the body itself. For this reason, in this activity, Kalbe conducted health education for young doctors, TNI AD officers at PUSKESAD, who are also the guards for handling COVID-19, and extending the information to the public by giving an explanation about "The Role of Doctors in Improving Public Immunity" that is delivered by dr. Ulul Albab, Sp.OG from the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) and "Optimal Body Endurance Amid Uncertainty" by dr. Helmin Silalahi, Medical Senior Manager of Kalbe Consumer Health with the material... This activity was attended by Dirbinlitbang Puskesad, Colonel Ckm dr. I Made Mardika, Sp.PD who also opened this activity.
"Early in 2022, we still hear news of the high Omicron variant of COVID-19 in Indonesia, Kalbe as a company that is engaged in the health industry will continue to be committed to fighting COVID-19 with various collaborations, one of which is by cooperating and collaborating with PUSKESAD," said Abi Nisaka , Kalbe's Manager of Corporate Sustainability.
