    Jakarta, June 29, 2021, PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (Kalbe). At present, olfactory disorders or Anosmia on COVID-19-positive patients often occur. Patients who are positive for COVID-19 often undergo nasal rinse therapy to reduce symptoms of anosmia or the loss of ability to smell. This is one of the reasons why Kalbe, through one of its subsidiaries, PT Enseval Medika Prima (EMP), innovated the Elvasense electric nose washer to be used as a nose rinse therapy.

    Jakarta, June 25, 2021, PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (“Kalbe”) continues to encourage its business unit KalGen Innolab to continue to improve COVID-19 testing services, especially RT PCR, for the public. The rapidly increasing number of COVID-19 currently requires testing support to control the spread of the SARS-CoV2 virus. KalGen Innolab noted that in June there was an increase in the number of samples by almost 4 times compared to the previous month.

    Jakarta, June 23, 2021, PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (Kalbe) today holds a COVID-19 Vaccination Center for the public for free from 23-25 June and 28 June at SD Fransiskus 3, Kayu Putih,  Pulo Gadung District, East Jakarta.   The vaccination program, in collaboration with the Pulogadung District Health Center, the Health Service and the Fransiskus III Elementary School is targeting to be able to provide 4,800 doses of vaccine to the general public.

    Jakarta, May 29, 2021, PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (Kalbe) today celebrates World Thalassemia Day which coincided with the anniversary of YTI-POPTI with the theme 'One Hope, One Goal, Towards Zero Thalassemia Major Birth.'  The event that is a collaboration between Kalbe and POPTI (Indonesian Association of Parents of Persons with Thalassemia), YTI (Indonesian Thalassemia Foundation), and PPTI (Indonesian Association of Persons with Thalassemia) to provide education on the management of Thalassemia that is held online and attended by hundreds of patients and observers of Thalassemia from throughout Indonesia.
