    Kalbe Commemorates International Seniors' Day

    Jakarta, September 26, 2020, PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (Kalbe) today through Kalbe Ethical Customer Care (KECC) to commemorate the International Seniors Day by organizing a health education event with the theme pf 'Seniors Stronger Than COVID-19'. Approximately 300 seniors participating online in the commemoration that follows a series of activities, among which are educational health talk show regarding fulfillment of nutrition on the elderly in order to remain healthy in the New Normal. Speakers in the educational event are dr. Lazuardhi Dwipa, Sp.PD-KGer; and Titiek Puspa, senior artist that implores the elderly to remain upbeat in the new normal era.

    Jakarta, 12 September 2020, PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (Kalbe) through its subsidiary PT Enseval Medika Prima (EMP) in collaboration with bioMerieux and the Association of Indonesian Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Specialists (Patklin) conducted health education on COVID-19 detection with syndromic testing that is an examination using the Rapid Multiplex Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) which can detect genetic material from several target pathogenic microorganisms at once.

    Jakarta, 8 September 2020, PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (Kalbe) in collaboration with Knitted Knockers Indonesia and Indonesia Cancer Care Community (ICCC) as well as kitabisa.com launched 1,000 Knockers Movement that will be given for free for ladies who are survivors of breast cancer in Indonesia who had undergone mastectomy (removal of breast tissues) surgeries. The movement that is a part of Kalbe's Oncology Total Solution service, or commonly referred to as ONE ONCO, is a form of care for Indonesian ladies that are survivors of cancer after mastectomy to get back on their feet, smile, regain confidence, and return to productivity.

    Jakarta, 31 August 2020, PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (Kalbe) in collaboration with doctorSHARE presented the aid of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) in the forms of 4,200 surgical masks, 520 medical-grade hazmat suits, and 150 non-medical grade hazmat suits; through the Indonesia Global Compact Network (IGCN) to be distributed to 55 hospitals throughout Indonesia, specifically to the Floating Hospital that is initiated by doctorShare. The aid is a part of Kalbe's contribution in COVID-19 management in Indonesia.

    Kalbe-Genexine Presents Anemia Medication Ephepoetin-Alfa to Third-Phase Clinical Trial Patients

    Jakarta, 24 August 2020, PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (Kalbe) through its subsidiary Kalbe-Genexine Biologics (KGBio) today has enrolled the first patients as well as supplied the first dosage of the Ephepoetin Alpha (EPO-HyFc) medication for the global phase-3 clinical trial. The medication is designed to be used for anemia therapy for kidney patients who are chronic - non-dialysis. The research project that is dubbed as Helios is conducting the non-inferiority trial in comparison with methoxy polyethylene glycol-Epoetin Beta (Mircera).
