    Kalbe Signs a Memorandum of Agreement with the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB)

    Jakarta, 25 March 2020, PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (Kalbe) today signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) in support of the efforts made by BNPB in tackling the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The Memorandum of Agreement is signed directly by Lt. Gen. of the Indonesian Military. Doni Monardo. Chairman of the Task Force for Mitigation Acceleration of Covid-19; while Kalbe is represented by Ongkie Tedjasurja, Director of PT Kalbe Farma TBK., at the BNPB headquarters, Jakarta.

    Kalbe Prepare Rp. 25 Billion for Help Facing Corona Virus (COVID-19)

    Jakarta, March 23, 2020, PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (Kalbe) in support of the Indonesian government in dealing with the Coronavirus outbreak (Covid-19) is providing medicines, multivitamins, health supplements, nutritional products, masks, PPE for health workers, hand sanitizers and other medical devices, as well as conducting Covid-19 examinations through Kalbe's laboratory network. The amount of the budget that has been prepared for the assistance is worth Rp. 25 billion which has been carried out in stages since last week; including toward various health institutions in the community such as hospitals (RS), Eijkman Research Institute, various offices, and community groups.

    Jakarta, March 19, 2020 PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (Kalbe) through its subsidiary KlikDokter, has been appointed by the government through the Ministry of Health to help educate the public about correct information regarding COVID-19, one of which is through the digital service of COVID-19 Risk Checking eatures for free. The digital service COVID-19 Risk Checking feature was launched in association with the global COVID-19 pandemic. Currently there is an increase in the number of cases of COVID-19 infection in Indonesia, which causes people to flock to conduct self-examinations. Through this feature, the public can check the symptoms that are related to COVID-19 before visiting the hospital.

    Jakarta, March 7, 2020 - PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (Kalbe) today through Kalbe Ethical Customer Care (KECC) and Indonesia Kidney Care Club (IKCC) commemorates World Kidney Day by organizing health education with the theme “Preventing Kidney Failure and Proper Nutrition for Kidney Patients” in collaboration with St. Carolus Salemba Hospital. More than 350 kidney, diabetes/hypertension patients and kidney observers were present at this event to participate in a series of activities including health education about chronic kidney disease (CKD) and health consultations such as blood pressure and glucose. Resource persons in the education of kidney disease health will be delivered by Prof. Dr. dr. Suhardjono, Sp. PD-KGH, KGer, Professor of Internal Medicine of FKUI-RSCM and Dr. Bettia M. Bermawi, Sp. PK as Head of Laboratory St. Carolus Hospital.
