Kalbe Donated Hand Sanitizers to COVID-19 Referral Hospitals in Jabodetabek

Jakarta, 22 May 2020, PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (Kalbe) through the Kalbe Consumer Health Division donated hand sanitizers to several COVID-19 Referral Hospitals in Jabodetabek via the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB). The presentation of the 5,000 bottles of hand sanitizer was symbolically carried out by Feni Herawati, Director of Consumer Health Division of PT Kalbe Farma Tbk to Colonel Cba Agung Maryono, Sub Commander of the Supplies and Donations Task Force of the Emergency COVID-19 Hospital of Wisma Atlet, Jakarta.
"During the COVID-19 pandemic, Kalbe is participating in aiding the Indonesian government to addressing and tackling the spread of COVID-19 by donating the Handy Clean hand sanitizers for medical personnel so that they can maintain the hygiene and health of their hands in their workplaces," said Feni Herawati, Director of Consumer Health Division at PT Kalbe Farma Tbk. "This donation is also a form of relaunching the Handy Clean product that can be an alternative for the community to maintain hand hygiene and health on spots or public transportation areas where it is difficult to find water and soap to wash hands," continued Feni.
The Handy Clean product contains 70% alcohol and Chlorhexidine Digluconate (CHG) which can kill germs quickly without water and soap, is not sticky to the hands, contain Double Moisturizer (Aloe Vera and Vitamin E) so that it is soft in the hand and safe for sensitive skin and its fragrance remains longer.
Handy Clean is used by placing a dollop on the hands and then rubbing both palms of the hand, practical and does not require water and wipes. Currently Handy Clean is available in 60 ml packages, practical to be carried anywhere; as well as 500 ml, 1 liter, and 5 liter packages. Handy Clean can be acquired at affordable prices at pharmacies, supermarkets and drug stores.
Previously the Kalbe Consumer Health division has collaborated with the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (KemenPPPA) to support the program "Together Guard Our Family" (BERJARAK) Movement by donating 1,000 packages. multivitamins such as Fatigon, Sakatonik ABC Gummy, and Sakatonik Liver Caplet to children and women affected by COVID-19 in DKI Jakarta and surrounding areas.
