Solo, November 16, 2019 - PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (Kalbe) today through the Hydro Coco product held the Gand Final of the Hydro Coco Cup National Futsal Tournament (HCNFT) 2019 at GOR Sritex Arena, Solo. There are 9 winning teams from the Gold Qualification selection who competed for the overall champion in the tournament with a prize fund of a total of 320 million rupiahs, the Hydro Coco Cup gold trophy, a certificate and the opportunity to take part in the U-18 international futsal tournament in Bangkok, Thailand. The 9 teams are from SMAN 3 Batam, SMAN 12 Surabaya, SMAN Kebakkramat Solo, SMANKO Bengkulu, SMKN 5 Makassar, SMAN 16 Bandung, SMAN 2 Banjarmasin, SMAN 3 Cibinong, and SMAN 1 Ungaran.
“This year, HCNFT is entering its seventh year of implementation, through this activity we want to contribute to creating a healthier & better Indonesia, especially the younger generation, through futsal; wherein we have also prepared scholarships at top universities for best player,” said Ronald Unadi, Head of Kalbe Beverages PT Kalbe Farma Tbk.”We hope that the Hydro Coco Cup National Futsal Tournament can also help direct youth to have positive activities and be able to prevent them from being affected by negative influences and educate the audience about the environmentally friendly Hydro Coco pack through 3L activities from Tetra Pak,” added Ronald.
“We appreciate the holding of the Hydro Coco Cup Futsal Tournament which has followed the competition rules imposed by the Indonesian Futsal Federation, the official body that houses Futsal sports' development activities in Indonesia,” said Edhi Prasetyo, Secretary-General of the Indonesian Futsal Federation. “We hope that this tournament can improve the knowledge and how to properly play futsal in accordance with the rules of the International Football Federation (FIFA), and since 2018 the Hydro Coco Cup has been officially designated as the U-18 program for the Indonesian Futsal Federation,” continued Edhi.
“This is the fifth year that BNN has been involved in the Hydro Coco Cup tournament, we have a common vision with Kalbe which is to create a healthier Indonesian society, especially healthy living without drugs,” said AKBP Ridho Wahyudi, Chief of the Surakarta Regional National Narcotics Agency. “On every occasion of the competition, BNN is actively socializing about the importance of healthy living without drugs. We invite the younger generation to take care and take an active role in preventing narcotics in the school environment to be safe and free from drug abuse and illicit trafficking,” Ridho continued.
“The Ministry of Tourism has cooperated with 131 brands in various product categories, one of which is Hydro Coco which is owned by PT Kalbe Farma Tbk,” said Haryanto, Assistant Deputy Marketing Strategy and Communication I of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. “Through the implementation of the Hydro Coco Cup that is spread across 31 cities in Indonesia, we hope this tournament can synergize with the Wonderful Indonesia program in terms of sport tourism and encourage the achievement of the main target of the Ministry of Tourism, which is to bring 20 million Foreign Tourists in 2019,” continued Haryanto.

This year the enthusiasm of Hydro Coco Cup National Futsal participants has gotten higher with 1,152 high schools from 31 cities in Indonesia and 230 thousand spectators. The Hydro Coco Cup National Futsal Tournament championship team will take part in the U-18 International Futsal Tournament in Bangkok and will be paid for the entire trip. This tournament is a tournament participated by champions of high school level competition in Thailand on December 3-5 2019.
Hydro Coco Cup 2019 will be held in 31 cities, divided into 31 Gold and Silver Qualifications. Silver Qualification will be held in 22 cities: Balikpapan, Banyuwangi, Bekasi, Bogor, Cirebon, Denpasar, Jember, Kediri, Lampung, Manado, Malang, Mataram, Padang, Palembang, Pekanbaru, Kudus, Purwokerto, Samarinda, Sukabumi, Tangerang, Tasik, and Tegal. While the Gold Qualifications will be held in 10 cities: Batam, Medan, Semarang, Bandung, Solo, Surabaya, Makassar, Banjarmasin and Jakarta.
Other than support from the Indonesian Futsal Federation, the National Narcotics Agency and the Ministry of Tourism; the tournament is also supported by Trisakti University, BRI Mo, Ortus Eight as the official apparel and Bolalob as the official media partner for the 2019 Hydro Coco Cup.
In the year 2013, the Hydro Coco Cup futsal tournament achieved the award as one of the Best Impactful Activation for Youth from SWA Magazine.
