According to data taken from the 2018 Global Cancer Observatory from the World Health Organization (WHO), it shows that the most common cancer cases in Indonesia are breast cancer, with 58,256 cases or 16.7% of the total 348,809 cancer cases. The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) states that the high rate of breast cancer in Indonesia reaches 42.1 people per 100,000 populations with an average death rate from cancer reaching 17 people per 100,000 populations.
