Press Release No. 008/KFCP-DIR/PR/III/19
Yogyakarta, March 24 2019 - PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (Kalbe) through its subsidiary PT Hexpharm Jaya organizes the HJ Learning Forum (HJLF) with the theme "Clinic Management Talk". The event that is held at Alana Hotel was attended by more than 150 general practitioners and specialists from Yogyakarta and Solo and was also supported by the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) Yogyakarta. Educational activities were opened by Dr. Joko Murdiyanto, Sp. An. MPH, Chairman of IDI Yogyakarta; and Bonny M Anom, Marketing Manager of PT Hexpharm Jaya. The main speaker of HJLF is Dr. Slamet Budiarto, SH, MH.Kes, Deputy General Chairperson of 2 IDI Executive Board, who discussed the how-to of clinical management in the BPJS Era and Dr. Fazilet Soeprapto, MPH, Deputy Secretary General 2 of the IDI Executive Board, who discussed clinic accreditation in the BPJS era. This year's HJ Learning Forum is the third year event, with target organizing event in 8 cities, namely Yogyakarta, Padang, Balikpapan, Denpasar, Semarang, Jambi, Jember and Jakarta.
"HJ Learning Forum is held with the aim for physicians to understand clinic management especially primary clinics in order to support government programs (BPJS)," said Bonny M Anom, Marketing Manager of PT Hexpharm Jaya. "We held an education program for Physicians to get the latest insights and information on Risk Management Cardio metabolic and the management of dyslipidemia with statin therapy. This activity is a form of Kalbe's concern and commitment in improving a healthier Indonesia in accordance with Kalbe's mission," Bonny continued.
Primary services are growing rapidly in line with the Government Program. UU no. 24 of 2011 concerning Indonesian citizens and foreigners who have resided in Indonesia for a minimum of six months, are required to become members of the BPJS. So that in 2019, every Indonesian citizen must be a member of BPJS, therefore the availability of Level 1 Health Facilities is needed along with the increase in the number of BPJS participants. What needs to be taken into consideration by clinics as Level 1 Health Facility is the availability of facilities and infrastructure, practical handling aspects, speediness and capability.
"The BPJS program has been receiving a fairly positive response from the community, as can be seen from the increasing number of BPJS participants that are increasingly served by private workers, so the method of 06681679 24-hours clinical services has become the future choice of BPJS participants," Dr. Slamet Budiarto, SH, MH.Kes, Deputy General Chairperson 2 Executive Board of the Indonesian Doctors Association. "Physicians need to be equipped with clinic management skills to be able to manage the clinic. All these times, doctors have been trained to handle clinic cases but not to manage the clinic. This is a challenge for doctors to succeed in the BPJS Era, added Dr. Slamet Budiarto, SH, MH.Kes.
"The BPJS program, which has entered its fourth year, has more than 175 million participants. With the increase in BPJS program participants, it is expected to improve the quality of health services to be even better. Thus, the HJ Learning Forum is hoped to support the improvement of the Indonesian clinics' quality," added Bonny M Anom.
Some other speakers at the HJ Learning Forum include Dr. Daeng M Faqih, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Indonesian Doctors Association, and Dr. Artati - Medical Head of the Kalbe Group. This forum is expected to be a means of meeting in sharing knowledge and experience regarding clinics and medical knowledge.
