PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (Kalbe) took action in helping victims through “Kita Untuk Banten dan Lampung”. The activities that was supported by Mitra Family Hospital and Kilikdokter.com will take place until the 9th of January 2019 in accordance to Banten and Lampung emergency response time.
Through The National Agency of Drug and Food Control of Republic of Indonesia along with Banten and Lampung Public Health Officer, Kalbe provides help by giving medicine, medical services, ambulance and logistic needs (blanket, mat, children clothes, tent, emergency lamp). Besides that, Kalbe subsidiary company, Enseval Putera Megatrading (EPM) have given their first round support on the 27th of December 2018.
“Responding to this emergency for Sunda Straight tsunami natural disaster is a form of care from Kalbe towards Banten and Lampung community,” said Melina M Karamoy, Head of PT Kalbe Farma Tbk Corporate Communication and Sustainability. “Kalbe Farma employees are also actively contributing by giving donations to “Kita untuk Banten dan Lampung”, Melina continued.
While, PT Hexpharm Jaya (HJ), Kalbe Farma subsidiary for their generic medicine division have also given their medicines to the main health department of Indonesian National Armed Forces in Jakarta. These medicines are directly given from President Director PT Hexpharm Jaya, Mulia Lie to the Indonesian National Armed Forces commander, Nanny Hadi Tjahnto who is also the General Head of Dharma Pertiwi and the Vice President for the Central head of the Indonesian National Armed Forces Health Department, Laksmana TNI drg. Andriani,Sp.Ort.
“Kalbe Group will always care and activity help Every social activities in Indonesia, especially during natural disasters. Kalbe work together with the Indonesian National Armed Forces to treat and provide other medical services to the victims,” said Mulia Lie when handing over the help.
