Kalbe and Indonesian Futsal Federation Making the National Team to be Asia’s Big Four

Yogyakarta, 20 September 2018 - PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (Kalbe) through its product, Hydro Coco, is collaborating with the Indonesian Futsal Federation (FFI) to support the Indonesian National Futsal team to achieve the position as one of Asia's Big Four. Hydro Coco, presently the official drink for the U18 and U20 National Futsal teams, self-declared their support for the Senior National Futsal Team by becoming the official drink of the National Team's Training Center. This declaration of support was symbolically marked by the delivery of Hydro Coco sportswear costume from Arwin Hutasoit, the Head of Marketing of Kalbe Beverages of PT Kalbe Farma Tbk; to Kensuke Takahashi, the Chief Trainer of the Indonesian Futsal National Team, witnessed by Efan Romeo Haliwela and Armando as Representatives of the Indonesian Futsal Federation, which took place in Yogyakarta today.

"Kalbe through Hydro Coco is consistently supporting the achievement of sporting achievement in Indonesia especially Futsal. We believe that the Indonesian National Futsal Team can reach the achievements of becoming one of the top 4 in Asia." said Arwin Hutasoit, Head of Marketing Kalbe Beverages of PT Kalbe Farma Tbk. "We have been consistently holding the Hydro Coco National Futsal Tournament (HCNFT) as Kalbe's contribution in fostering futsal sports from an early age as well as giving birth to the best players to support the Indonesian National Futsal team." Arwin continued.

Arwin also stated proudly that HNCFT presently is a routine program of the U-18 of the Indonesian Futsal Federation (FFI) and has become the talent search area for the selection for the next member of the U-18 and U-20 national teams.

"I am very grateful for Hydro Coco's support for the Indonesian national futsal team. I am significantly assisted by the presence of Hydro Coco to help develop the physical condition of the players and of course the players responded to Hydro Coco's support by releasing all their best abilities during training and when competing,” said Kensuke Takahashi, the head coach of the Indonesian National futsal team.

In addition to the support as official drink TC of the Indonesian national futsal team, Hydro Coco has also been also consistently held futsal tournaments for high school level called Hydro Coco National Futsal Tournament (HCNFT).

HCNFT 2018 was appointed as the official program of the Indonesian Futsal Federation (FFI) U-18 due to the consistency of Hydro Coco who runs HCNFT for 6 years and conducts education on the official rules of futsal to all participants. FFI has designated HCNFT as a talent scout arena to find the next national futsal players for the U18 Indonesian national team, and FFI send ranks of national team's coaches to do the talent scouting in this tournament.

The Futsal tournament that is held in 29 of the city is planned to be attended by 1,003 senior high schools. The inaugural match that was held in July 2018 in Batam will be concluded at the Grand Final in Semarang. HCNFT will be held in 29 cities, divided into 29 Gold and Silver Qualifications. Silver Qualifications matches will be held in 18 cities: Jakarta, Tangerang, Bogor, Tasikmalaya, Padang, Solo, Manado, Palembang, Cirebon, Balikpapan, Samarinda, Pekanbaru, Purwokerto, Yogyakarta, Denpasar, Pontianak, Malang, Jember and Bandar Lampung. Whereas the Gold Qualifications will be held in 10 cities: Batam, Yogyakarta, Medan, Semarang, Bandung, Jayapura, Surabaya, Makassar, Banjarmasin and Jakarta

In addition to support from the Indonesian Futsal Federation, the tournament also has the support of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) because HCNFT is viewed to be a positive activity to keep teens from the dangers of drugs. Furthermore, Yamaha has also supported HCNFT 2018 by conducting safety riding educations for teenagers. Not to be left out are ZINC Shampoo, Kereta Api Indonesia, Xonce Gummy, Trisakti University's Faculty of Tax and Kalbe Business Institute that present scholarships as prizes for the grand final, Futsalzone, Bolalob & Inews are the official media partner of HCNFT.

Hydro Coco at a glance
