Kalbe Holds The Hydro Coco Cup National Futsal Tournamen 2013

Jakarta, 2 March 2013 – PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (Kalbe) through its Hydro Coco brand is holding the Hydro Coco Cup National Futsal Tournament. This tournament is a national-level futsal competition for high school students, to be held at the following seven cities: Jakarta, Makassar, Banjarmasin, Medan, Surabaya, Jogjakarta and Bandung. The Hydro Coco Cup Tournament is an agenda supported by the National Futsal Agency in developing and teaching teens, especially students, to get to know and play futsal properly and to encourage them to compete on international scene.

This is evident from the number of high school futsal teams registered for this event, and from the questions and encouragement provided by the community, participants and even potential participants through social media platforms.”

“Unlike other futsal tournaments, the winner of Hydro Coco Cup National Futsal Tournament will have the opportunity to participate in the futsal tournament in Thailand,” added Arwin Hutasoit, Senior Brand Manager of PT Kalbe Farma Tbk. “We hope they can add competition experience on international level that spurred the spirit of achievement, as well as for other students in Indonesia. All travel expenses for the winning team will be covered by Kalbe.”  

“We warmly welcome the Hydro Coco Cup 2013 competition, obviously this activity will increase the interest to futsal as sport among teenagers,” said Ricky Johannes, Deputy Chairman of the National Futsal Development Agency. “The Hydro Coco Cup Futsal Tournament could be a routine agenda of BFN, also could become the means to find young talents to improve the performance of Indonesian futsal in international arenas.”

Today’s initial kick-off of the Hydro Coco Cup National Futsal Tournament will be held at GOR Ciracas, East Jakarta (2-3 March). Followed by Makassar (16-17 March), Banjarmasin (30-31 March), Medan (4-5 May), Yogyakarta (11-12 May), Surabaya (25-26 May), Bandung (1-2 June), and the grand final will be held in Jakarta (29 June).
