Jakarta, 19 November 2015 – PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (“Kalbe”) and Blackmores Ltd Australia (“Blackmores”) today agreed to develop their vitamin and health-supplement products business through PT Kalbe Blackmores Nutrition, signed by their respective subsidiaries, Blackmores International Pte. Ltd and PT Sanghiang Perkasa, as part of Kalbe subsidiary.
“This joint venture is part of Kalbe’s strategy in developing innovative and healthy products based on natural and herbal resources, in our effort to build a healthier Indonesia,” said Irawati Setiady, President Director of PT Kalbe Farma Tbk. “We hope this partnership will further cultivate Indonesia’s natural resources and enhance its recognition within the global market.”

Kalbe Blackmores Nutrition represents a synergetic and bilateral partnership between Indonesia and Australia, as represented by two leading healthcare companies within their respective countries. Products to be developed include multivitamins and nutritional products, targeted for premium segments in Indonesia.
Kalbe, through PT Sanghiang Perkasa, offers a complete range of nutritional products, targeting all age segments, from infants, toddlers, children, pre-teenagers, adults, pregnant and lactating women, up to the elderly, as well as consumers with special medical needs.
