Kalbe Shares Health Through The Sinabung Movement

Sinabung, 3 Februari 2014 – PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (Kalbe) today holds health services for 1,785 inhabitants of Sinabung, North Sumatra. The two-day services will be held at four posts, located at Jalan Udara Berastagi, Desa Tanjung and Tanjung Mbelang. The health services provided will include general health check.
“Kalbe is very much concerned of the health of the refugee of Sinabung mountain's eruption," said dr. Karta Sadana, Medical Deputy Director of PT Kalbe Farma Tbk. “Through this activity, we are hoping to help the recovery of Sinabung. We are collaborating with the National Military, National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) and the local Government in supplying the logistics of the activity to ensure its continuity.”
This activity involves a team of 13 physicians and 6 pharmacists, and today the medical team will service 659 patients at KWK Berastagi post and 550 patients at Korpi post. On February 4, it will service 366 patients at Tanjung Mbelang post and 210 patients at GBKP RG Tanjung Mbelang post. The health services will provide 96 types of medications.
