Board of Commissioners

As an aspect of the implementation of the oversight function, the Board of Commisioners pays great attention to the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in the company.


  • Bernadette Ruth Irawati Setiady

    President Commissioner

    President Commissioner of the Company since 2017. Currently she serves as the President Commissioner of the Company based on the resolutions of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders dated June 5, 2017. An Indonesian citizen, born in Jakarta on May 19, 1962, domiciled in Jakarta, Indonesia.

    Earned a Master’s of Science Degree from the Faculty of Food Science, Cornell University Ithaca, New York, in 1986. In 1987, she began her career as Product Manager at PT Bukit Manikam Sakti, the Infant Food Division of PT Kalbe Farma, and then in 1989 moved to PT Sanghiang Perkasa, a Health Food Subsidiary of PT Kalbe Farma, as Marketing Manager. In February 1992 she returned to nurture and build PT Bukit Manikam Sakti, as President Director and later on became Vice President for Manufacturing and HRD at Helios Foods from November 1992 to 1994. From 1994 until 2014, she has held the position of the President Director of PT Sanghiang Perkasa, which became the Nutritionals Division of Kalbe. At PT Kalbe Farma Tbk, she was appointed as Marketing Director of Ethical and OTC Businesses from 1997 to 2005. In 2006 after the merger, she was responsible as Director for Corporate Strategy and Business Development. In 2008 to 2017, she served as President Director of PT Kalbe Farma Tbk.

     


  • Santoso Oen

    Commissioner

    Commissioner of the Company since 2008. Currently he serves as a Commissioner of the Company based on the resolutions of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders dated June 5, 2017. An Indonesian citizen, born in Jakarta on June 18, 1964, domiciled in Jakarta, Indonesia.

    Graduated with a degree in Economics from University of Colorado, Boulder, the U.S., in 1991. He began his career as a Production Supervisor in 1987 at KC Pharmaceuticals Inc., the U.S., eventually being appointed President Director. In 1997, he joined Kalbe Group as the Deputy Director of PT Bintang Toedjoe, a position he held until 1999, when he was appointed as a Director, serving until January 2001. In June 2002, he was appointed as Commissioner of PT Dankos Laboratories Tbk where he served until the merger in 2005. From 2000 until May 2008, he served as Director of the Company.


  • Ferdinand Aryanto

    Commissioner

    Commissioner of the Company since 2008. Currently he serves as a Commissioner of the Company based on the resolutions of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders dated June 5, 2017. An Indonesian citizen, born in Jakarta on May 7, 1972, domiciled in Jakarta, Indonesia.

    Earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from California State University at Long Beach, the U.S., in 1995. In 1996, he joined the Kalbe Group as a Product Executive at PT Dankos Laboratories Tbk, before serving as a Product Manager at PT Bintang Toedjoe in 1997. He was then promoted to various senior positions including Senior Product Manager, Marketing Manager, General Marketing Manager and Assistant Marketing Director. Between 2001 and 2008, he served as a Commissioner of PT Enseval Putera Megatrading Tbk and several other companies.


  • Ronny Hadiana

    Commissioner

    Commissioner of the Company since 2015. Currently he serves as a Commissioner of the Company based on the resolutions of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders dated June 5, 2017. Indonesian Citizen, born in Jakarta on October 7, 1971, domiciled in Jakarta, Indonesia.

    Graduated from Arizona State University in 1994 with a Bachelor in Engineering degree and from University of Pittsburgh, Jozeph Katz Graduate School in Business in 1996 with an MBA in Finance and Management Information System.

    He started his career in FedEx as Senior Financial and Systems Analyst in 1996-2000, followed by several analyst and consulting positions in 2000-2003 period. He subsequently assumed several positions as Hyperion Developer, with the latest position in Google in 2006-2008 as Hyperion Developer and System Integrator. He then assumed the role of IT Director at Mitra Keluarga Hospital from 2008 until now.


  • Lucky Surjadi Slamet

    Independent Commissioner

    Independent Commissioner of the Company since 2014. She serves as an Independent Commissioner of the Company based on the resolutions of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders dated June 5, 2017. Indonesian Citizen, born in Malang, East Java on June 12, 1953, domiciled in Jakarta, Indonesia.
    Achieved Master of Science in Community Health and Epidemiology from Queen’s University, Kingston, Canada, in 1991 and Pharmacist from Faculty of Mathematics and Science University of Indonesia in 1979. She had a long career in National Agency of Food and Drug Control (NADFC) in 2001-2013 with her last appointment as the Head of NA-DFC before her retirement. Until now, she is still actively involved in World Health Organization (WHO)’s activities, among others are as a member of the Expert Committee on Specification of Pharmaceutical Product (ECSPP) (2009-now) and Expert Advisory Panel on Drug Policies and Management (2005-2013). She also served as Vice Chairperson of Inter-Governmental Working Group on Counterfeit Medical Products representing South East Asia Regional Office (SEARO) from 2010 to 2012, and Vice-Chair/Chairperson of Developing Country Vaccine Regulator Network in 2004-2007/2007-2010, and was actively involved in the National Research Board: Health and Medicine Committee, Indonesia as well as the Indonesian Clinical Trial Working Group. Currently she also serves as the Chairwoman of Audit Committee.

  • Farid Anfasa Moeloek

    Independent Commissioner

    Independent Commissioner of the Company since 2008. Currently he serves as an Independent Commissioner of the Company based on the resolutions of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders dated June 5, 2017. An Indonesian citizen, born in Lampung on June 28, 1944, domiciled in Jakarta, Indonesia.

    Awarded a Doctorate in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia in 1983 and earned a Professor of Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia in 1994.

    He served as Academic Director at the University of Indonesia for the Master’s Degree Program (1996-1998), as Indonesian Minister of Health in the Development VII Cabinet, as Indonesian Minister of Health in the Development Reform Cabinet, as a member of the Indonesian Consultative Assembly MPR RI (1999), General Chairman of the Supervisory Council of the Indonesian Doctors’ Association, and President of Medical Associations of South East Asian Nations (MASEAN) Council (2003-2006). He has also received several awards, including the Adi Satya Utama Award from the Indonesian Doctors’ Association (1996), the Maha Putra Adipradana Star of the Republic of Indonesia (1999), the Satyalancana Karya Satya of the Republic of Indonesia (2002), the Bina Ekatama Award from the Indonesian Family Planning Association (2002), and the Prof. Mohtar Award in Science and Research from the Indonesian Public Health Association (2007).
