Dometic is shorted of Domperidone as an anti-emetic, so it easily remember to get the drug for curing our vomit or nausea which is induced by emotional disturbance, brain-vascular disturbance, painfull, or chemical agents.

Domperidone works as an antagonist agent to Dopamine reseptor located in gastric.

Its feature which is disable penetrating to blood-brain barrier places Dometic as a safety drug used by geriatric or paediatric

Composition

Each film-coated tablet contains Domperidone 10 mg

Per 5 ml syrup contains Domperidone 5 g

Indication
Adults :
– Acute nausea & vomiting
– Nausea & vomiting associated with L- Dopa & Bromocriptine treatment
– Delayed gastric emptying of functional origin with gastro-oesophageal reflux and/or dyspepsia

Children :
Nausea & vomitus caused by anticancer chemotherapy and radiotheraphy
Contra Indication
Allergies to Domperidone; prolactinoma; risk of gastrointestinal haemorrhages; mechanic obstruction; digestive perforation

Pregnancy and lactation
Adverse Reaction
Allergic reactions; galactorrhoea; less frequently gynaecomastia
Dosage
Chronic dyspepsia :
Adult 10 mg, children 0,25 mg/kg. To be taken 3 times daily

Nausea and vomiting :
Adult 10–20 mg, children 01,25-0,5 mg/kg. To be taken 3 or 4 times daily before meals and before bed time
Direction
* Take the drug 15-30 minutes before meals
* Another dose may be taken before retiring
