Management of nausea & vomiting associated with chemotherapy & Radiotherapy

Dosage
Initially 8 mg slow IV inj. immediately before chemotherapy, followed by 2 further doses of 8 mg 2-4 hrly or continous infusion of 1 mg/hr for up to 24 hr. Alternatively, 32 mg diluted to 50-100 ml & infused >= 15 mins immediately before chemotherapy. Less emoetogenic chemotherapy Either 8 mg orally 2 hrs before chemotherapy or mg by slow IV inj or 15 mins infusion immediately before chemotherapy. Radiotherapy induced nausea & vomiting 8 mg 8 hrly 1-2 before chemotherapy followed by 4 mg orally 8 hrly up to 5 days.
